Advertising campaign:

My Title for the advertising campaign is TIME I believe that this helps the advertisements grab peoples attention so they want to know more about the movie and research, this will also increase the spreading through people talking about what it could mean between friends, family or even strangers online.

The type of products I will be making will be billboards and posters so it keeps people guessing because they are seeing it every time they go by it. Posters and billboards can be placed in certain areas which can make them very effective for example placing a billboard on a road close to a cinema to entice people to come and watch.

The specifications of my advertisements will vary from biggest being 14 feet high by 48 feet wide to one of the smallest being 11 x 17 inches. The big poster helps catch the attention of drivers and passers by but the small ones cost less and grab the attention of many people who just walk by because is can be put up in places where big billboards cannot such as small streets, side of buildings and in buildings.
The purpose of my advertising campaign is to grab the publics attention whilst making them think of what the movie could entail, I also aim to gain publicity while keeping the public guessing about what is coming and why they are seeing the movie everywhere.

A synopsis of my campaign would be to keep the movie information to a minimum to keep everyone guessing what it could be about or what it will be like then moving over to social media I would I would release tiny bits of information to the public to let everyone guess whilst the hype builds up, I would also ask the actors with main roles to post on their social media platform also little bit of information a long with them saying how excited they are so it gets other people excited to see the movie until the trailer comes out and hype is built.

My inspiration was mainly slashers such as Texas chainsaw massacre, hoping to follow the theme of being ominous with a main big killer. I also drew inspiration from the new horror movie X which did not let out a lot of information at once, they kept it to a minimum to create suspense and anticipation for the movie.

Advert content in my campaign is mainly bold text with suspenseful music and a dark background and little information, this helps the advertising feel like a horror movie.
